Window Shopping at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp
A juvenile male gorilla strolled in front of the gift shop at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp and curiously looked through the windows. After a few minutes of peering inside, he decided to take closer look, strolling into the gift shop. He briefly stopped to study the floor and admire the displays, then left without touching anything. But he quickly turned when something caught his eye and headed towards the other shop window where he peered closely at the miniature gorillas on the shelf. Curious to know if they were real, he stretched his arm through the open window, picked one gorilla carving up from the shelf, and put it on the floor. He observed the statue for a few minutes, tapped it (as if prompting it to walk), and then seemed to decide it just didn't want to go and left to go about his business.
